Barrelling Tide Distillery is an award-winning craft distillery located in Nova Scotia’s beautiful Annapolis Valley.

Rooted in community and a quality-over-quantity philosophy, Barrelling Tide Distillery is a true taste of Nova Scotia.

Overlooking a tidal river that flows into the Bay of Fundy, our name is inspired by the rise and fall of the world’s highest tides, seen here twice a day. Built on a belief in supporting local farmers and producers, Barrelling Tide handcrafts spirits and liqueurs in small batches using locally sourced ingredients.

Guests can enjoy curated cocktail flights in our tasting room, and we also produce a line of ready-to-drink cocktails and seltzers for convenient enjoyment at home.

For us, that story begins with thoughtfully sourced ingredients and continues through each step of the distilling process. Every spirit and liqueur we produce reflects deliberate choices, hands-on craftsmanship, and a respect for the time it takes to do things well. No two batches are exactly the same, much like the tides themselves.

But the story doesn’t stop at the still.

It includes the people behind the brand, the local farmers and collaborators we work with, and the community that supports us. It also includes the moments our spirits become part of—shared around a table, poured at celebrations, or discovered for the first time during a visit to the distillery.
